Jon L. Ten Haagen, CFP, RPC, founded Ten Haagen Financial Group in 1993 after a 16 year career with a major U.S. brokerage house. He served key roles as account executive, branch manager, coordinator for mutual funds, trusts, qualified plans, professional money management and distributed assets. He received his CFP designation in 1982 and has served the Financial Planning Association (FPA - formerly IAFP), Long Island chapter, in a variety of capacities including President and Chairman of the Board. He is a member of the Past Presidents Advisory Board.

Mr. Ten Haagen currently serves as both President and Treasurer of the Pension Council of Long Island.
